Free postcode lottery!

I am a recent convert to Free postcode lottery and it's such a fantastic idea I thought I'd tell you about it.

If you have 2 minutes to join and can spare 15 seconds (maximum) per day you can enter a lottery totally free of charge.  If you are thinking about giving up the national lottery draw to save the money this is an ideal replacement.

Okay, here's how it works.  You sign up to the site using your postcode, then at 12 every day they randomly select a postcode to win.  Looking at the site the prize seems to always be £80 and this is rolled over if they have no one in that postcode.  Likewise if they have more than one person it is split.

They also have another daily draw that you are automatically entered into which has smaller rewards.

You receive a daily email to check the site to see if you have won, this literally takes seconds but you do need to do it every day.  You don't have to have the email but I find its a good reminder to check.

So far I've seen no down sides, I haven't been sent junk mail and it seems to be legit that they fund the site through advertising sales.  I haven't won anything yet either so I don't know if really pays out or not.  My hunch is that it is totally genuine but you check it out for yourselves and good luck!

  1. This is an interesting idea. Still the players have to be vigilant. Online scams make use of every opportunity to send fake winners emails to wangle money or some personal info. Good luck with the post lottery!

  3. Agree. How can one win the lottery if he or she did not participate it at all? Secondly the lottery operators will never notify about the winning themselves. If the prize claiming time runs out it is declared cancelled. That is why I check USA lottery results myself and in time.

  5. Playing the lottery is a personal choice and is just like buying any other product. People are forced to pay taxes; no one is forced to play the lottery. Check A very awesome blog post Crowdfunding.
